Elise Miller

Elise has experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving breach of contract, employment disputes, and business torts. Elise has represented companies in FLSA overtime collective actions; in the negotiation and litigation of severance, non-competition, non-disclosure and related employment agreements; before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; before commercial arbitration panels; and before state and federal district courts and courts of appeal. In addition, she counsels employers with regard to employment policies, wage and hour compliance, leave of absence, and issues relating to employee discipline.

Elise graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Political Science in 2008. During her time at UTD, Elise played on the women’s volleyball team. In 2006, she was selected as a member of the NCAA Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference team. After graduation, Elise attended South Texas College of Law in Houston. Elise served on the South Texas Law Review and graduated second in her class in 2011.
