R. Glen Rigby
Principal
Glen is an experienced litigator, appellate lawyer, and former general counsel for the North American operations of a global financial services group. He practiced for seventeen years at Vinson and Elkins and Pillsbury Winthrop representing corporate clients in complex commercial litigation and appeals in a wide range of substantive matters, where he tried cases to verdict and briefed and argued appeals in state and federal courts in Texas and other jurisdictions. As in-house counsel, Glen provided legal advice and counsel to C-level management on a wide range of legal issues, including trade secret, non-compete, employment, securities, corporate compliance, and insurance issues. His duties included drafting and negotiating commercial and employment agreements, and managing and conducting arbitration and litigation throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
Glen graduated first in his class from LSU law school, is a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University, and holds a Master of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University.
